Maxi dresses are from Hell

Ok, remember how I was saying that I wasn't really into this maxi dress trend?

I finally found one I could live with at Fashion Bug. I tried it on, the colors flattered my skin tone, and I didn't look hideous, so I bought it. I wore it exactly one day and going up stairs, I kept tripping over my hem, so I had to lift my skirt every time, I was climbing stairs, not an easy task if your hands aren't free, which some of the time mine weren't. Going up the stairs to my apartment, I stepped on my hem, and fell onto one of my knees. I now have a purple bruise and a scrape on my left knee. (Cute when you're six, not so much when you're 36.) : /
