There's my girl!

I was channel surfing last night, and I saw this familiar face.

My mother and sister used to tease me because back in the 90's when tuck's and French roll's were in style, I used to leave hair pins all over the place. So whenever Witch Hazel was on, I sprang to mind in more ways than one. :D

This so amazing!

I used to have an Etch-A-Sketch as a kid, but I never got good enough to be able to do this. Wonder how much time this took? A guy named George Vlosich did this.

A new chapter...

Just went to Home Depot and picked up the paint for the accent wall at my new place. The saleswomen were laughing at the look on my face when I was watching them mix the colorant. (I guess I can't get rid of the little girl in me completely. Some people would say that's a good thing, others not so much...)

Marlon Wayans as Richard Pryor ?

I don't know if the casting is final yet, but I think Mike Epps would be/would have been a better choice. My mother and I always used to have the most wonderful debates about stuff like this. Maybe Mike Epps doesn't have enough dramatic roles under his belt to be considered in the same league as Marlon Wayans?... I wish I knew who else was in the running and how they were being chosen. Not to knock Marlon Wayans, he may do like Jamie Foxx did with Ray, who knows?

TruBlood

Just got my first shipment of TruBlood yesterday. I love it! I'll have to post a pic sometime next month. :) The taste of it reminds me of something else (in a good way) and I can't think if it's Jones Soda or what, but like I said, it's great! Even looking at the bottle gives me the biggest tickle. Speaking of True Blood, I saw a poll on a website where they were asking which is better the Twilight series or True Blood. I was like are they kidding? Some people like both, I'm sure, because they're both about vampires. Plus, I think you're talking about two different audiences here, those that like their romantic displays subtle and those that are a little more... flexible. Then, there are some who like neither...I think like pretty much everything boils down to, it's a matter of personal opinion.

Very interesting Tonner survey

I'd been hoping they'd do this, but I thought it was a long shot. It's like someone's reading my mind...or I'm putting out vibes or something. Anyhoo, Tonner sent me a survey...(I was a member of the doll club, and I bought a Captain Jack Sparrow from them.) One of the questions on the survey they sent was, who would you like to see a celebrity doll of next? They had Grace Kelly among others on the list. I was surprised to see Michael Jackson's name. I chose him, you don't have to ask why, if you've been reading my blog...Tonner does such beautiful work, I know it's a long shot, but I'd love to see what they do. I also put in the box where they ask you for comments, "Which look form which era, would you be choosing though?" They've definitely got a decision to make there. Would he have different outfits? The possibilities are endless...

I'll be curious to see how the survey goes. I think they're a little too conservative to do it, but we'll see...
